Im rewatching the game and actually think Galette played well enough...he was held multiple times per quarter that were not called, but seemed a lot quicker than the o lineman.

Also had several outstanding open field tackles, just sucks he was the one who had to make them since our secondary tackling was atrocious

Eta: yea Galette did def seem to take a few plays off, hopefully was just frustration (not that that is okay, just haven't ever really noticed him do that before. Don't think ita related to the contract though)

Byrd and Vaccarro were playing 25 yards off the ball. They really had no chance of making many plays at all as evidenced by their names not being called much.

I was disappointed that Cam, Hicks and Gallett did not get more pressure. But when you rush 4 guys against 5 O lineman and a running back, you can't expect much.

I was disappointed in the defensive playcalling and unwillingness to adjust in the second half.

A minimum of 3 times Galette was tackled by his neck and Jersey and no one threw a flag. Same for Cam Jordan. I'm not worried one little bit about our dline.

Our linebackers however were nonexistent in that game. Which is probably about half their fault and half Rob Ryan's. As for our corner backs, we have 1. We need to fix that because out current roster is fricked at that position. And my guess is in Cleveland our safeties won't play 30ish yards off the LoS every single play

I was very, very disappointed in Vaccaro and Patrick Robinson in this game. I think Gallette played decently enough, but that's not going to cut it. We need Jordan and Hicks to show up too.
