To be frank, I can't say that I even pay attention. There is so much information available on the webs that anyone can fake it these days. I guess it depends on what area of technology you work with. I'm an industry expert in the area of technology I work with, but you likely wouldn't know it because it has so little relevance here on TD.

Why on earth would someone not use the internet as a source of information? I don't just carry a memory bank full of product knowledge and industry updates beamed to my brain regularly. My internets have access to the same sources as everyone else. I'm also not the only one from the neckbeard basement-dweller loserville Gaming Board who actually knows something about technology outside of video games. I jump at the opportunity for hands-on experience with any piece of computer hardware, but the internet is invaluable. Aside from my daily news scouring, I read and post on forums, listen to podcasts, and still read the reports and newsletters that I subscribed to back when I was a digital media industry reporter. And whenever possible and necessary, I will use the internet to verify facts before I hit the Submit button. It would be incredibly irresponsible not to.

Based on many of the questions here there are an inordinate amount of people who don't understand how to use the Internet. Sorry, wasn't disparaging you. I just don't know you.
