For the past 2 years I've been going to Sherlocks off 75, usually a decent crowd, but the bar sucks and they ALWAYS have some heavy metal rock band setting their shite up the WHOLE game. Last year during the Bama game a bunch of people coming to watch the band showed up before it was over and were walking in front of the screen, making a ton of random noise, stealing seats, and even cheering for Bama just to piss us off... So I'm thinking about trying out a new place.

The email said Addison Point Sports bar had a watch party, but it didn't list Dodies Reef on Lower Greenville, do they not have a watch party anymore? They have a big sign in the restaurant that says "Home of the LSU Dallas Alumni" and I'm 95% sure the owner is an LSU Alum. I was planning on going there, anybody know if they are having a watch party?

Here are some locations. I watch at home, but I hear Quaker Steak in Plano is a good place to go.

Watched a game at the Press Box downtown a couple of years ago and it was pretty good. I typically don't like to go downtown, but it wasn't bad at all. I think it's one of the "LSU bars" in that they always show the LSU games. I went to Sherlock's last year for a game and really hated it. People were incredibly cheesy there. 50 year old women walking around in purple and gold boas handing mardi gras beads to people just being annoying as frick.

There's also Stan's Blue Note just by Dodie's on Greenville. Owner's brother used to play football for LSU, has his old jersey and pictures hanging, LSU flags and signs. The game will definitely be playing there too. Lots of TVs if you want to follow a few games.
