When I was a kid during the 1970's, Tulane could count a slight majority of fans in it's favor in NOLA. That was when a much greater percentage of the student body was comprised of locals. Now that's changed and many of the local Tulane fans are aging while not being replaced.

Tulane football is doomed. It will never be relevant and never taken seriously by a majority of sports fans of New Orleans. Never. Tulane is like the Southern most MAC school. Tulane is like Bowling Green or Western Michigan at best.
