I have some american house spiders around the patio in my backyard. They look very much like brown widows and almost made me shite a brick when I first noticed them.

What is the best way to get rid of spiders outside in my landscape and inside my garage? I hear spraying for them doesn't do much and I have TONS of different varities of spiders around my house. So...any great ideas on how to kill mass quantities of these damn things before me or one of my kids get bit?
