I didn't realize it, but yellow jackets make huge paper nests that look like hornets nests. There could be hundreds or thousands of yellow jackets in there.

I removed one from my dad's pontoon boat. It was up under a storage compartment. I took a couple of indoor foggers like the ones you'd use for fleas and such and tossing them in there like hand grenades. It killed enough of them to where I could finally take the nest down.

Yes the papers nests and also a wasp nest where when i knocked it down the larvae were coming out of the nests. It looked like these things were about to hatch. There was hundreds of them on the ground not counting the hundreds of yellow jackets swarming around. I cleaned the storage shed out yesterday after i thought i had got rid of them and didnt see any. Go in there this morning and there was another swarm that came out. Had to run for cover.

will these foggers also kill the larvae in the nest?
