I have an AM21 I got from Directv for free because they didn't have locals in HD when I started my service. No activation fee. You just hook it up and set it up in the menu. Don't even have to make a phone call. It's nice having OTA backup when the weather is bad. I also get all the subchannels and some locals that DTV doesn't offer.

someone said if it was bad weather these wouldn't work either b/c it goes through the directv box.
