What is the deal with these sattelite/local channel negotiations? Even when they make a deal it must be 1 year contracts. Why is this constantly going on? KPLC in Lake Charles and DirecTV are at it right now too.

this only works if you're using an older direcTV box. If you're using a new HD DVR or Genie, you need an additional box.
