I think he stacked up very poorly. I think that he got in because of his father's connections and he was an alumni of Yale. It wasn't based on academic merit.

Doubt anyone is arguing that President Bush performed well during his undergraduate (nor did, apparently, President Obama). It is my understanding that he pulled himself (somewhat) together during his graduate studies (the same argument made for President Obama).

Not even sure what point you are trying to make here. His father is a man of great influence. There is no disputing that.
