just because your A/V says its a virus that does not mean its a virus. How did the tech connect to your computer?
Very possible that A/V could be seeing something associated with what the tech used to connect to your computer. Remote access services can be detected as a backdoor, etc by A/V.

Remote access? I have no clue, Microsoft had a thing pop up on my computer that I had to agree with to connect to him.
