These are probably the people who thought:

1. We'd easily beat Wisconsin by 3+ scores because they looked at 24/7 recruiting rankings
2. Gordon was overrated B1G talent
3. Wisconsin playing easy opening games in the past had any relevance to this game

In other words, you shouldn't listen to them. We saw Jennings take a big jump in the second half, Dural and Diarse proved they can step up, and Les' fake punt call gave the team a huge boost. It seemed like a classic LSU game to me.

the thing about starting an inexperience qb is that if you do start conservatively it gives them time to warm up and adjust to reading the D. the last thing we need is a repeat of the Lee scenario where he seemed scared for life after his being thrown into the fire.

anyways, I love coach miles and do not buy into the hate (and never have). the negative I have about miles is that our recruiting relaxed right after the '07 NC and we had a terrible OL and mediocre QB's.

Halftime adjustments are made by the coaching staff.
LSU dominates the second half.

Those things go hand in hand. Anyone who argues otherwise is ignorant or too stupid to waste time on.

Good win by an inexperienced team that will have a month to grow before another big test.

This is the rant - most folks on here have forgotten more football knowledge than the Hat - you should know that.

Yes. While some of is were goofing off going to school at LSU, countless others were brave enough to rise above that and focus nonstop on figuring out a way to watch LSU football relentlessly and never enjoy it.

The team looked unprepared. Personnel issues, Quinn didn't know which side to line up on a few times, multiple delay of game penalties, not showing life 2.5 quarters into the game.

Good win, though.

I LOVED the decision for no retun man that late in the game with a lead. There was hardly any time left and you have absolutely no chance to muff, or anything bad to happen that way.. YOU SIMPLY WANT THE FOOTBALL period.

Plus a lot of these guy's returning kicks this year as inexperienced and young.. If you noticed early on a punt White (I believe) dove into a ton of players to fall on a ball.. A highly risky play that was not going to gain anything extra.

Bitch Bitch Bitch until the river runs dry. Can't you guys just enjoy a bit of the Win? We have a very young team and you need to just understand it will take us a couple more games just to see what we have and not have.

The team's apparent confusion and being lost in the first half was (and is) all coaching. That said, for a change, the staff (including Les) made very good halftime adjustments.
