I have my suspicions that if another country had a military presents in the US, that a bunch of us would form resistance groups. And depending on who was in the particular groups, some of them would probably become what we label as terrorists and do similar horrible shite.

And seeing as how nukes arent very specific weapons, I would hate if my family got vaporized because Billy Bob and John boy next door were light Iranian reporters on fire to prove a point.
