I made this exact argument on here about a year or so ago and was excoriated for it.
Not only did we win the Vietnam War, it was actually one of the most complete and decisive victories in the history of modern warfare.

It is true that our US armed forces did indeed kick arse in a heroic and honorable fashion in Vietnam.
I'm very proud of those young men and young women.
Sure, there were some who committed crimes, but, there are always some bad apples.
