Yes. Author of Radical, a really challenging book. Just got made head of the International Mission Board. If you want intense, do his Secret Church webcast on Good Friday every year. Super fast intense bible study.
He really blasted that book/movie series "Heaven is Real" or whatever it was called about the boy who went to heaven and came back to tell about it. Pretty good.

I went to school with Platt. He's a cool dude. Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check them out.
