Plus how many times that year did we win or win with putting up 30+ points with less than 150 yards passing? That's insane to think about.
Plus, we beat teams with incredibly different playing schemes.
Oregon speed, spread and fine tuned fast paced offense on one end, Bama's deliberate power offense and stud defense on the other.
To be able to match up and beat every part of the spectrum of college ball was nearly unprecedented in my opinion.
In 30+ years of watching college FB, I have not seen anything quite like that.
