How are they gonna explain away the fact that most Christmas traditions were co-opted from pagan celebrations?
Even us Christians have what we think of as Christmas incorrect. The Jews actually don't think birthdays are that important in the first place.

Actually most Christian scholars think we have the date totally wrong. Dionysius made Christ's birthday as December 25th.
In the 17th century it became quite apparent that the calculations by Dionysius Exiguus were incorrect. It’s not only the issue of data of Christ’s birthday that the Pope has raised in his book. He also dispels the myth of the nativity set. According to “Jesus in Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives”, there were no ox, no little donkey or other animals at Jesus’ birth. Pope Benedict wrote that the inclusion of domestic animals in the nativity scene may have been inspired by pre-Christian traditions, probably written by an early prophet in the 7th century B.C.
They think it's in February - if you are even going to celebrate Christ instead of Santa at the end of December...reconfigure your calendar.
