Just how is that dumb ?
The conference commissioner goes on record agreeing that LSU should have its' nite game tradition acknowledged and somewhat "protected" by the broadcasters ! Is this not what you heard/saw ?
For years and years, you never heard a peep about our traditions, only those of the conference elite. Finally, someone bitched enough to actually get some notice....

Yay, we received a pinky promise with nothing to enforce it with.
How does that prevent CBS from picking up our games? It doesn't:
