the accidents are not because of the new intersection; they'd be having them anyway.

so since it was partly done to make a safer intersection, there's no way in hell they're going back to the old way.
For the record, I'm not blaming DOTD for these accidents. I am blaming the rule-breakers. I am just explaining the rule-breakers' thought processes.
