If you're more of the shrinking-violet type, then you are probably less likely to succeed in climbing the below-the-line crew ranks.

Consider getting a BSN in nursing and pursuing film as a hobby until it pays off. If you still have a shitload of hours left and can't find anything you're interested in at a university, consider enrolling in a 2-year PTA, OTA, or RN program at a local community college. You'll probably already have completed some of the pre-reqs. Again, you can leave with a marketable degree that will pay your bills while you pursue your film interests without financial stress.
