Yeah, I know. But I'm working with insurance claim money from a water leak and that's all I've got left after I paid the plumber.I only need basic things. I'm alright with not having custom cabinets.

Honestly, box cabinets don't work out any cheaper than having a decent set of custom built. And quality on them is crap.

Look at your house, the neighborhood, your families needs, and potential for selling in the future. I;m not saying go over the top but make wise decisions for future plans, even if you need to add a little money to get better future use and return..
