Has anyone used what is called the Union Square parking garage on game day? If so, how much of a hassle is it to get out of the garage after a game? Thanks.

let me answer your question with a question.there is tons of free parking in and around that parking garage. Why would you park there? For example, the ag museum is absolutely free

I talked to the ticket office about it.
Season passes are sold there. It is first come, first served. They won't oversell the number of spaces available, but I imagine it is easier to get out of the garage the closer you are to the exit and the lower the floor you are on. There are handicap spots on the lower level.
I read last year that it was hard to get out of the garage.

It's a little difficult because you can't get to Stanford by going around by the UREC. The road is blocked off right there. You have to go Highland. I loved having a guaranteed parking spot waiting for me though and it's in a great location for tailgating and such. I highly recommend it.

The reason I am asking is that I am getting up in age, and I can't keep spending 15 hour days at the game to park in the free area where I have parked for years. I also refuse to pay the high costs in the other lots. I would be guaranteed a spot here and could leave the New Orleans area much later for a game.

If you get out there early enough (read anytime before say 9 for any game not against bama) there are spots in the law school lot right across the street.

Absolutely this. Assuming you're not in charge of a tailgate, I highly recommend it. Great location, connected to the bookstore, faculty club is across the street to grab a bite if you're not stopping by any tailgates, easy access to Dalrymple post-game, and not too far of a walk to the stadium.

Try riding the bus from downtown. You can park under I-110 at the Florida St. exit and catch the bus right there. It lets you off new he site of the old Alex Box Stadium. After the game catch the bus at the Softball Stadium lot for the return trip downtown.
