I have A thought. How about that it doesn't matter who the starter is.

This has been my assertion... It doesn't really matter. Cam Cameron is our "QB" this year.

Whoever ends up playing more this year or being officially named the starter really doesn't matter....we're going to be a run-heavy team that tries to eliminate the possibility of either young QB fricking us up too bad.

I do not think it matters this year as either way we are going to slowly break them both in and then next year be more reliant on the QB as both will a little more mature and aware of what is expected of them.

You...you get out of here with all of your sensible and rational thoughts and reasoning. They will clearly not be welcomed here.....

I agree with most of this. As far as the "starter" for the first game, I don't really care. It seems pretty obvious that both will play.

While I understand where you're coming from, I disagree with your statement that "Cam Cameron will be the QB this year." He and the staff can do their best to make things easier on an inexperienced QB, but if LSU wants to win, whoever is a QB is going to have to make plays. It's the most important position on the field and you just can't hide your QB. There are going to be mistakes, but you also have to be willing to let your guy go out and win the game

This seems to be the prevailing thought of most but I dont understand why no one seems to think that one of these guys could actually be a focal point of the offense and put up big time stats? There have been several freshman (true and red shirt) the last few years that have lead there teams and been the biggest reasons why the teams were extremely successful - Manziel & Winston are the two best examples but there are others. Im not trying to compare Jennings or Harris to either of those Heisman winners but we dont really know what either are capable of yet and lets remember that Johnny was a 3 star recruit that no one had ever heard of and wasn't expected to be the starter until he barely beat out the other guy and Sumlin named him the starter just a few days or what maybe a week prior to A&M's opener that year?

I think this LSU team has as much talent or more than that A&M team had sso I could see Cameron leaning more on the QB than most may expect and if Harris turns out to be as good as expected thos LSU team could end up in the playoff.
