I can let you know in about 2 weeks. I'm sending one of my employees there for some training.

It's a her so I don't think the experience will be quite as nice.

Her family is wealthy and she is very intelligent so I think she will manage quite well.

That's impossible. Some einstein from Madison, Al just told me that I couldn't get any insight on here at all because nobody can even go see their favorite team play a game.

Thanks, I'll look forward to the input. I'll have it booked by then, but I'd still like to hear what you have to say.

49er's was definatly cooler, I was hanging with a "bad" crowd then.

The people of Qatar don't enjoy The Flintstones, but the people of Abu Dhabi do!

I'm willing to wager half the posters on the OT either don't have a passport or if they do, it is void of any stamps.

I would agree with that. However, not sure why I committed such a sin as to ask for hotel recommendations in a foreign country. And I got several good recommendations so there's that.

Next question, since you asked: Why didn't you do that?

Why come on TD, a place where only a handful of people have ever been there and ask for advice when trip advisor would have taken less time and offered a thousand times better input?

Well I guess you're wrong because I've been a few times, and have been to the same conference as OP.

BTW, the Fairmont has a shuttle that runs between the conference and the hotel.
