Guilbeau really tells what he thinks unlike most other reporters who cover the Tigers who are actually an extension of LSU Sports Information.

What he says makes more sense than all the hype around our very young team. Prepare yourself for an untypical LSU year.....everyone has one now and then. Next year lots better...

Miles inability to recruit a top QB looms to doom this season more than any other.

I do not think a QB manager will work in the SEC any longer. Must have a playmaker and we do not have one.

Should be fun to watch but something tells me the stars are not aligned for the Tigers this year.

Agreed.

Every year, Miles should have a game-prepped, experienced QB waiting in the wings. No time to break in a new QB every few years like every other college coach has to do.

Nope. Completely different standard for Miles.

Who wants these two guys anyway? They were both 2 star QBs out of HS.

Saban has a 6 star QB with three years of experience ready to take McCarron's place today.

Let's pray that at least one of our QBs is as good as advertised.

If not, we could be screwed not only this season, but potentially next year as well.

Both qbs had their pick of sec schools. I don't understand this thought. If not LSU they'd be playing for a rival.

You don't know what we have.

Harris is a play maker. He was in high school and looked great in the spring game. Chill out

We took the bottom of the barrel QBs no one else wanted.

Thing is, what he thinks changes with the wind. Just a couple weeks ago he was talking bout how good Harris was looking. I think it's more the case he tells us what he thinks will get our attention.

"doom"??? We went 13-1 with pretty average QB play and we went 11-2 with worse QB play in 2010. Doom might be just a tad over kill. imo

BTW, I thought both Jennings and Harris were pretty well respected HS QBs?
