I didn't mean to insinuate that your claim was false/invalid. I just meant to say given the story "used to have 20/15, now I can't see well" means your vision is worsening. Good LASIK candidates have relatively stable vision. You don't want to cut and reshape a cornea on a changing eye. You want to cut and reshape a cornea on a stable eye.

You sound like you're an expert. What do you recommend for competitive tennis play if I'm still having problems tracking the fast moving ball in contacts?

I don't know when exactly my eyes started to go... But within the last year I've started to notice it's been much more prevalent.
