Just heard on radio Loomis will be on the show today. Didn't say what time, but I'll be listening until 12:30 and will recap if it happens before then.
And for those who hate Rome, there is a guest host today. If you were hesitant to tune in, its safe.

Kind of a lame interview. Recap:
-Scouting staff good at identifying players with traits saints like.
-Coaches good at getting guys in mix regardless of what school they come from.
-Big leap defensively last year - went into off-season with intent to improve takeaways.
-Everything resolved between CSP and Jimmy Graham in regards to dunking. Won't do in game.
-Have a lot of good skill players, guys willing to take up slack for losing sproles, mentioned Ingram, Stills, Cooks, Toon, and Robinson. Plan to spread out Sproles' touches.

That seems significant.

They said after last year that they are still high on Toon and the only thing holding him back was touches.
I know most on here hate him and were expecting him to be gone(or close to gone) but our expectations aren't the same as the coaches'.
So I'm not surprised his name came up. I'm a little surprised Cadet's name didn't with all the hype.

Cadet will stay because he's our pass catching HB.
Even PT will apparently being getting fewer catches, so Cadet is necessary.

Wasn't saying Cadet is going (especially since none of the rookies are showing out like in years past). Just saying people were hyping him to be the guy to take over Sproles' role (when it was only said he was a guy that could get some of those touches) and now he wasn't even mentioned.

Yeah, he definitely didn't mention Cadet. The host was rushing him though so it may have been by accident.

That might be the answer.

Don't believe the hype.
I never bought in. I'm not buying into the Toon hype either, but at least he has shown the potential to be pretty good if he can catch. All Cadet has shown is he can catch a ball and get tackled easily.

The only bad play he's had was that block in the back penalty. He did get stripped, but he was held up for a while, and the play was rightfully called dead.
From all the reports, he and Drew have developed a chemistry, and Drew hasn't played in any games yet. People were ready to say goodbye to Morgan after the Rams game, and then he had a big game.

Watching it again it was really a block in the side and when he tried to pull up the defender flopped once he had the angle to make it look like a block in the back.
I'm not really up or down on Toon though. I know he has ability but he has yet to consistently show it.

Because he predicted Tim Flanders would beat out Cadet
Hey, if you were wrong, you might as well form an opinion on the guy sucking after 2 preseason games
