pisses me off when people draft backups from teams they don't have the starting RB from. Draft your backup, not someone else's.

But if I draft the backup of an injury prone starter, preventing another owner in my league from drafting said backup, is it not increasing my chances to win by making the other guys team weaker?

Well I think Grimes is likely the backup. Even if they think Blue and Grimes are equal I'm not sure they hand the rock to the rookie if Foster goes down.

I assumed I was the only person who would even consider drafting Blue....

who's your starter? did you draft his backup?
All RB's in the NFL are injury prone.

No. Making one team weaker does not make your lame-arse team stronger. Your team is weaker because you have occupied one roster spot with a player who may never see the field--or, at least, who may never see the field in a meaningful way. Thus, you have shortened your roster to one fewer spots that the rest of the league.

This philosophy is akin to making yourself feel better by putting someone else down. Does not make you a better person.

Better strategy is to draft the back up for your own star player.
