We already passed on him. What has changed since then? Is he a better prospect now? Are we more in need of a DE now?

perhaps. Tough to tell. He had 3 TFL in their spring game and was expected to see a lot of time this year per their fans. So at the very least he's proven himself to be in the mix at a very good school. That's nothing to scoff at.
