I don't feel even a modicum of shame saying I don't live in Louisiana because I didn't want to live around one group of people

I know people leaving NOLA and Jackson only to live around more white people but really less black people

Same here. It was one of the major factors in my wife and I deciding to move the family from Baton Rouge to Boulder a couple of years ago. The cost of living is a bit higher but the quality of life and public school system is much better. I can go for days without seeing a certain "group of people".
