Lafayette/Broussard plumber recommendation

Gas company replaced my meter and now says I have an underground gas leak so will not turn the gas on. I need someone out here today.
Any recommendations from the board that won't bend me over dry?
ETA: the line is 600 feet long from the meter, so it's not a small job.
This sucks.

Oh well, Ace won't send anyone until tomorrow or Thursday.
Life is good for a plumber to turn down a big job.

Try Mr. Rooter. He's done a few jobs for me when i used to live there and has been awesome and always came out the same day I called.
