Texas A&M, Texas Tech, LSU, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Florida, and Tennessee," Johnson said.

The list is not in any certain order, but Johnson does have a school at the top of his list right now.

"Clemson," Johnson said. "Clemson puts a lot of receivers in the league. Sammy Watkins is just one of them. They have a great offense to get playmakers the ball in open space."

From Tyron himself.

Personally, I'd be fine if left. Don't want to scare off any of the 2016 wideouts.

I can only think of 2 right now along with a couple of RBs.

WRs drafted in last 10 years:
LSU - 11
Clemson - 6

WRs drafted in last 5 years:
LSU - 5
Clemson - 4

I fail to see how the number of WRs put into the NFL is a valid argument for Clemson. He seems like he doesn't want to be at LSU for his college career. It happens. We have two outstanding true freshman WRs on campus atm, so I don't blame him for looking at other options. I think he is still a good enough talent to get significant playing time early, but in the end, if he doesn't want to be at LSU, then he shouldn't come to LSU.

Here is my retort to Mr. Johnson's above quote:

James Wright career stats at LSU:
25 catches 304 yards 0 TDs
Drafted 7th round-239th overall

Putting lots of receivers in the league??? Our fricking benchwarmers at WR are getting drafted!

I'd hate to lose Johnson. I wasn't like the others fawning over Noil and Williams last year. I'm actually glad we got neither because no way we get both Dupre and Quinn. I did however, want Blacknall and Melvin Holland.

I thought Johnson could push for top WR last year after watching his film. Hopefully we get him. If we don't, we need to lock down the top 4 WRs in state next year. Davis, Leflore, Jones, Sullivan.
