Guilty!

(the victim's past is entirely irrelevant)

His past is a nuclear bomb of a weapon in an emotional debate involving this 'poor, innocent little boy who was just walking to grandma's when he was savagely attacked by an officer because he was black.'

ANY public debate with a racial angle quickly turns into an emotional debate, not a logical one.

I'm also wondering why a juvinile record wouldn't be sealed?

So you believed that Mark Fuhrman's supposed racist past was also irrelevant right?

i'll give tuba that he's consistent with this and the Perry thing. he truly believes that what people did in the past should not be held against against them when dealing with current events.

This is very true.

However, this is very effective combating the emotional arguments that he was some angelic child who was summarily executed by the police while on his way to bring ice cream to the elderly at the local retirement home.

No. No it's not. It dispells the myth of this big fellow being a "gentle giant."

So, the past is irrelevant when it comes to crime, but not when you want to take out a mortgage. Got it.

What about his future, you know he was about to start college. I know all college kids get a few strong arm robberies in before rush and registration.
