Lost would imply that I had any respect for CNN in the first place.

Erin Burnett and Brooke Baldwin are both fine as hell though!

I have been posting for more than a year now that CNN no longer even tries to portray itself as an unbiased news organization. It's an electronic tabloid now, concerned only with being first to air irrelevant interviews with non-eyewitnesses during prolonged sensationalist stories.

It's an ignorant business strategy. When they changed leadership 18 months ago, they had the option of reformulating their news presentation strategy and place themselves midway between Fox News And MSNBC by presenting a strong slate of on-air and correspondent journalists of integrity, with no past histories of unrelenting bias and partisanship.

Instead, they became what used to be MSNBC, and MSNBC, in response, just made a sharp turn even further to the left, while acknowledging that they are no longer an actual news network, but rather an advocacy network.

There is still room out there for an honest straightforward 24/7 news channel (and no, neither Al-jazeera TV or RT are in any way unbiased, I have watched plenty of each in the past 6-8 months and they both display their respective agendas in relentless fashion.) I'd love to see some big $$$$ people recognize the void and go all in to to give the viewers a true news network, even if the ratings are so-so at first. In time, once people realize that such an entity exists, their viewership would grow, because we're all sick of the alternatives.

Won't happen, but a pleasant thought nevertheless.
