I would hope Perry has already got his lawyers lined up.

First order of business: file a motion to dismiss on grounds that the Governor can veto ANY legislation for ANY reason (short of bribery, which isn't the case here).

If denied, announce ready for trial. Put the Travis County DA on the defensive (they brought the charges, they should be ready to present their "evidence").

I can't imagine that they would want it going to trial because of discovery alone...but then again, if they are as incompetent as they seem...
