Oil/Gas job fair in Lafayette on Thursday.

I started searching for jobs in the field about two years ago, but back then I didn't have a TWIC card. I got one in May and continued my job search, but still no luck.
I heard about the job fair coming up and registered for it through rigzone. I was wondering if I could get any tips from any of you guys that are in the field and/or any of you that have applied at job fairs in the past and have gotten on after that.
Is there a certain dress code for these types of job fairs?
Even though I uploaded my resume whenever I registered for the event, should I still bring multiple copies with me?
Lastly, even if not through this fair, do you guys know of any jobs that I could apply for? I'm looking for something entry level since I have no experience (obviously) and it doesn't just have to be offshore, it can be on land. I've always been really interested in fracking.
TIA!

start on Hwy 90 in LFT, stop at every O&G place you'd like to work for, you won't make it to Morgan City, maybe not even New Iberia

Bringing a few extra resumes is a good idea.
Jeans, polo shirt, work boots and some costas and you're a lock

Khakis and polo should be good and yeah multiple resumes.
Be very outgoing and likable, that's more important than your experience sometimes.
NOV is getting ready to hire another group and do a mud school. Check their website for mud engineer or whatever they call that position these days.

Thanks guys!
Is there a reason why someone down voted my post? Didn't think I did anything wrong.

0T badasses, whose standards you will never be able to live up to.
You know, the same ones who say "meh" about someone like Brooklyn Decker, while at the same time have to act all alpha to impress burned out 40 year old women on a message board.

To be totally honest, anything except for roustabout. If that's what I'd have to do to get a job, I'd do it.

if there is more than 1 company at the job fair, i would definitely bring more than 1 resume'.

Roustabout gets your foot in the door. Show you got the skills and you'll get noticed. I worked Week's Island in the late '90's as a roustabout for D&C and the operators there wanted me to "jump the fence". Gotta prove yourself first though.

This X 1000000. Put on a pair of jeans a polo and some work boots, be clean shaven with a decent haircut. Tell them you know nothing but are willing to learn and do anything. If you make it to New Iberia you are doing something wrong.
Bonus Hints- dyed hair, excessive jewelry esp facial, sagging pants, wacked out tats that are visible, or a know it all attitude will basically eliminate you from the get go. The oilfield is full of conservatives act appropriately. And definitely have an email address that does not contain your screen name.

Hey man, would this event only be for experienced people?
I have twin 21 year olds with 2 years of college. They just did the 8 hour hoist/sling course and will sit for a CDL license in probably 2 weeks.
They are tough, they went t the US Army Infantry School when they were 17. They want to work, sick of school.
