I thought Falcons fans were being delusional about the Defense. Then I clicked the link. 75% of the posts over there aren't that confident about the D for ATL or want to see more in pre-season before they give an assessment.

Yeah, no falcons fan should be confident in our D at all. If Alford can improve to a true #2 and Trufant plays at the same level that he did last year, maybe they can cover long enough for our D to get some sacks.

And for good reason . Their secondary is at best average. The line does not produce much of a pass rush. If they don't get some heat on Brees consistently he is going to eat them up.
