i'm only 24, got this car about 5 years ago for the winters in syracuse and it held up pretty well. Now I'm down here and it can't handle the heat apparently

it's a fuse. it's the ones located under your hood. there should be around 6-9 of them.
check each one with a test light and you will find the one that is "out".
