chemex takes about 5 minutes tops including grinding the beans.
i put 3 cups (or 24 oz) in kettle and set the grinder on 4.
copper tea kettle boils in about 2-3 minutes (gas burner) and i just pour it in while i'm getting breakfast made.
2 pretty big cups of very tasty coffee.
