Have you forgotten NOLA during Katrina? It is a perfect example of a doomsday scenario. People with sense move to a safe area and barricade themselves. The Takers run rampant for a few days until they realize they don't know how to survive on their own. They cry for help and then the GOV rolls in heavy handed and restores order.

(During Katrina) They also complain because the Government hands them MRE's to feed them and they refuse to take the MRE"s because they "deserve" better food. (It happen, I was there, Saw with my own eyes.) I'm not saying all people are like this, but there are a lot of rotten apples hanging on the tree.
