I wouldn't say I blame myself. BUT, I knew he was extremely upset about what was going on in his life. I told him what I think he should do, as far as addressing it, because it was the only way to fix the issue. I should have said something to my parents, and maybe things would have been different. But I kept his secret and what happened happened. It was his decision, there were ways out, but once communication goes away and you start down a path of secrets, you get yourself into a hole of shite, and it sometimes gets way out of hand. But still there were ways out, he made the wrong decision. But he felt it was the only way.
