Interesting article. This same CEO already predicted back in April of this year, that Aetna would have about 450,000 paying customers by the end of the year LINK.
A lot of useless spin here by this author, Jed Graham. Check out his last 5 columns. Looks like he has an agenda.

So the government also predicted that this would happen or just Aetna? I'm not sure how it's spin to point out that an anemic enrollment coupled with a lack of people paying the premiums on their super affordable and awesome new insurance has led to really poor showing for the debut of Obamacare.
