Holy crap, Nathan For You is brilliant (Comedy Central TV Show)

Everything from the business ideas, to the writing, to the improvised awkwardness, and Nathan himself. Recurring bits and Nathan's longing for finding acceptance and dealing with girls. And the spoofs and the meta jokes. Wow.
It has captivated me for the last 48 hours. I can't put it down.
I am only concerned about the lifetime of the show. When it gets too good, it'd have to be over, right? The Dumb Starbucks may have blown him up too much.
A little more in depth: It's the subtle awkward things and recurring jokes that get to me the most. I was sold in one of the first episodes about having hot girls steal clothes from a clothing store so their girlfriends would shop their too. Well, the hot French girl that he wanted to make sure she was pushing the store to her friends...he met up with her in a park and he was upset she brought people because he was hoping for a date.
And then the ways he uses small bits. Like the chat during the cleanup service with that single guy, and then trying to get him a hook up in front of the 40 female Latino workers.
Props to him for the subtlety that he can take and run with. The guy has to be brilliant with timing and foresight. Must have a great staff too. Many of his business ideas are legit.
I guess this brand of humor is just to my taste.
That's all I have to say really. If you haven't seen it, you should!

Know nothing about it. Theatre movie, comedy show, or just show?

Best show on TV right now. Nothing is close.

Yep. Really enjoy this show and Drunk History.

For whatever reason I never could get into it. Maybe it's because the episode I watched when I tried it out was the one where they were getting people to buy stuff from a store by telling them it was part of a movie and then they had to actually make a movie.
It just seems so contrived and obvious that I didn't enjoy it. Maybe I'm just too old. I dunno.

I like how he always asks the people to hang out as friends and they reject him.

I've never given it a shot but I may have to after all the great reviews I've seen on here.

I'm stoked it's catching on
I was worried it wouldn't be renewed after the first season and certain it wouldn't get a 3rd

My favorite episode is when he gives people a discount on gas but they have to climb a mountain and live up there for a few days to get the rebate.

I liked the one where if you didn't get your pizza delivered in 10 min or less (or something) that you got a free pizza...that ended up being the size of a bagel bite.
