im a huge animal lover, but they need to put that thing down. it probably wishes death upon itself every day

Especially since cats are so active when they want to be. They love to climb, hide, stalk, jump on things etc. has to be terrible wanting to do those things but not being able to

I doubt it. I think my cat wouldn't move off his spot on the sofa if I put food and water next to it.
