It just sounds like you are holding LD to an unfair standard because he didn't follow a specific career model. Looking at what he has done for this modern era of USA soccer, how much more could he have done playing for Everton in 2009 to now?

I don't think I'm being unfair at all. I guess I'm just one of those people that never "got" Landon. He was never one of my favorite players. He was a great player, although I thought he could have been better if he didn't spend so much time in the MLS, and he had more talent than probably anyone we've ever had. However, I've always been a much bigger fan of other players.
