The new Patrick F. Taylor Renovation (CEBA) is being funded by 50 million from the state and another 50 million from outside state money. I was part of the fund raising from private investors and large companies. LSU's Engineering college is almost self sufficient from donations from companies and Alumni. The engineering programs here are some of the best in the nation for the amount students pay. The Petroleum department is ranked in the top 10 in the world. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconPimp.gif)

Then you of all people should know that it's $53 million from private sources and the state will match that. It's a little over $100 million total.
