I made tomato basil soup over the weekend. I love that soup. My favorite, though, is a roasted tomato soup I posted here a while back. I don't order it in a restaurant much unless I'm sure it's made in house, but it's a soup I enjoy and you can make a good one with canned tomatoes, even, using fresh herbs. I put sherry in the one I made recently per Pioneer Woman and I enjoyed that addition.
