Had one guy worked with us about 8 weeks and left his resignation at the front gate with the guards.
When we hired another guy to replace him, we told him he would have to out do that.
After about 6 weeks he called me first thing on a Monday morning. Told me to go tell the boss to check his in-box. The guy had sent his resignation through the company mail, so that it was in the boss's inbox Monday morning.

I work for a fortune 100 company and one day a dude sent a mass email to the whole 30,000 employee base saying how he's quitting and his boss is an a-hole
He said his boss was fricking one of the sales girls and even called him out on certain instances where he saw them. He also copied his bosses wife on the email
Scorched earth

In the pharmaceutical business. I was in sales training. One District Manager hired a real loser. The guy coukd not remember basic facts about our drugs. I tell DM he will need special help to pass. Guy returns to field. Two days later leaves his manager a voice mail saying he quits and the company car is some where in Bergen County New Jersey. Exact words were "good luck finding it". It turned up 6 months later in a parking garage at a mall.
