He has no problem lying as long as it suits his end goal. It's one of the major reasons why the West has a hard time identifying with Islamism in general, IMO. Willful avoidance of facts or active obfuscation of facts are celebrated for the advancement of the cause. An Enlightenment of some sort is in order for Islamism. I will not hold my breath.

Exactly. It really serves no purpose in solving anything because it's based on a lie.
It's like a porn star lying to her boyfriend about what she does for a living thinking he will never find out. 5 years later his brother says.. hey she's a porn star. So he goes to confront her and she says it's not true... your brother is lying...
Concerned with how many men she has been with he asks her. "just 5" His brother says she's done 50 movies! He goes back and says "50 movies and only 5 guys?" "It's not true".. but we have your HISTORY here on tape and disks...." "it's your brothers fault" "he wrecked our relationship"
