So she is 21, overweight and not even attempting to do anything about it?
Apparently, she had major body image issues as a kid and has admitted that she always felt that she could never live up to the unattainable "cover model look". What's crazy is that her older sister (with a kid) looks pretty good and her 48-year-old mother has the same figure as my girlfriend does. Personally, I want to exceed my father's physique when I reach his age, not mimic it during my mid-20s.
She eats and drinks as she chooses and seldom works out aside from jogging around the lakes. I've never brought up the matter because I didn't want her to feel self-conscious as I tried to push my lifestyle on her. I'm a former distance runner who has been weightlifting/powerlifting for about six years and I eat completely clean (no fast food, no processed carbs, no sweets, no drugs, no alcohol, etc.). She never objects to my eating habits and is willing to work around my meal schedule, but she has never appeared to want to emulate any of my behavior.

So just to be clear:
Current gf is fat and has a shitty grin.
She has daddy issues.
Mom is also a fatty.
She's completely opposite of you politically (I think this is a pretty big deal).
She's only 22 and not looking to get healthy.
You're not looking for marriage at this point.
...
What the frick was the question again?

You sound like a piece of shite, OP.
First you start dating a girl that you aren't physically attracted to, then rather then end the relationship, you cheat on her (and that's what's happening here) with this other girl.
Grow the frick up. Dump your girlfriend and date this new girl, if that's what you want. Don't keep your g/f around as some sort of place holder until you see where things go with the 20 year old.
And don't ask the OT for advice when you know what you want to fricking do, already.
