WTF. I was expecting something more a complaint about one of Square's artist's fan art of Batman. 
And I finished it. I get some of what he's saying (in that they overthink or focus too much on the details), but I think that's more of a culture difference. Nintendo does the exact same thing, just without the graphics engines. They focus on the minute and try to get everything right resulting in a ton of delays.

He has a point but like you said, they aren't the only ones.
